So this past Sunday I read in the Metro section of the New York Times that there is a real life vegetarian Rasta joint right here in Brooklyn (you can read the article here).
As you can tell from my previous posts (here and here and here and there are more), we love Jamaica and even more we love Jamaican food (specifically Ital as it's the traditional Rasta food and doesn't include any meat or dairy and is as natural as it comes (not to mention ridiculously delicious).
I was superpsyched to hear about Scoops on Flatbush. Scoops (the owner) sells hame cooked Ital food and non-dairy ice cream to finish the meal!
I have to admit it's been a crazy week and I haven't made it over there yet, but I've been craving it since I read the article. Have any of you been? I'd love to hear!
