The weather this week in Brooklyn has been a bit schizophrenic. And so has my head. I need a weekend to slow down my mind and body. Between the extreme heat, crazy downpour, tornado watch, wild lightning over Manhattan (we can see it from my kitchen) two nights this week, and a fairly cool evening, I don't know what's going on. On top of that I've been knee deep in kindergarten information for Avi (we need to make some serious decisions soon), reconsidering some diet stuff (B-vitamin worries), my friend's grandmother passed away, my babysitter's daughter was pretty sick, having to change around the first mini-vacation Richie and I were planning on taking in forever due to circumstances out of my control (I was really looking forward to it), thinking about moving (for a school), working on growing this very blog, getting two nights of terrible sleep, having blood drawn, basically my head is spinning and I'm feeling very depleted.
A weekend of quiet with family and friends at the beach is just what the doctor ordered!
