A Wonderful Weekend Despite The Weather

Love Life and Lollipops- Swinging in Pier 1

This weekend we headed out east for some fresh air and fall air.  It was so nice to get out of the city and our daily grind and appreciate some open space, a little shopping, the biggest zucchini I've ever seen, some chili on a rainy night, a slide and a swing and awesome friends to pick apples with. All in all, it was a perfect weekend, despite the rain, wind, and chill in the air!

This supercool outdoor swing was so fun to rock on with Avi for a while in Pier 1 Imports.

I had no clue zucchini could grow this big. I could make 10 loaves of vegan zucchini bread with this!

(Um, is this not the largest zucchini you've ever seen. I took one home because I had to, but I'm not even sure what to do with it! Any suggestions for vegan zucchini dishes?!?)

Vegan chili is so so yummy and smoky and sweet with tons of veggies.

Avi loves to slide, but this time was one of the best sliding excursions ever!

Avi loves to swing in the playground. I was swinging her so high here!

Avi and Ike picked so many apples for us. I could make an infinite amount of vegan apple pies, cakes, crumbs...
